Carol Thompson Rackley

Carol Rackley, age 86 of Devine, Texas passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Lytle, Texas.



She is survived by her sons: Ronnie Rackley and wife Sondra of Devine, Garry Rackley of Devine; daughter, Susan Schott and husband Mike of Devine; brother-in-law, Cyrus Avey and wife Ruth of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Carmel Rackley of Georgewest; grandchildren, Shannon Rackley Rangel and husband Danny Joe of Devine, Brandon Rackley and wife Lindsay of Franklin, TN, Chris Rackley and wife Neccia of Jourdanton, Natasha Johnson and husband Sam of Ft. Polk, LA, Joshua Rackley of Jourdanton, Sheila Schott of San Antonio, Michael Schott and wife Crystal of Devine; great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Lily, Henry, and Madison Rackley, Alexander Rangel, Vance Schott.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine from 2pm to 9pm with family receiving friends from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service will be held at 10am Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Black Creek Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Family has requested memorials may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery Association.
