Andres Reyes Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026 at the age of 93. He was born on February 9, 1933 in Cotulla, Texas, and lived a life defined by love, dedication to family, and unwavering strength.

Andres was a hardworking and devoted family man who spent much of his life in concrete construction, beginning his career in 1967. Through years of dedication and perseverance, he built not only structures but a strong foundation for his family. He took great pride in his work and in teaching his sons the same trade, passing down the values of hard work, responsibility, and integrity. Alongside his beloved wife of 62 years, Martha Moreno Reyes, he raised his family with love, strength, and unwavering commitment. Andres found his greatest joy in being surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and generations that followed, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, unity, and deep family roots.

He is survived by his daughter, Maria Elsa Juarez (Edward); his sons, Johnny Reyes (Glenda), Oscar Reyes (Florinda), Andy Reyes III (Irma), David Reyes (Connie), and Jessie Reyes (Vanessa); his brother, Felix Reyes; and his sister, Feliciana Reyes. Andres is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Martha Moreno Reyes; his parents, Andres Reyes Sr. and Angelita Reyes; and his brothers, Isaac Reyes, Martin Reyes, and Juan Reyes. Andres was also preceded in death by his grandsons, Rene “Kick” Rodriguez and Peter Andrew Reyes.

A visitation to honor and celebrate Andres’s memory will be held on April 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, Texas. This time will allow all who cherished him to gather, share stories, and offer comfort in each other’s presence. The following day, on April 29, 2026, a Mass to commemorate Andres’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, also located in Pearsall. This sacred ceremony will provide a meaningful space for reflection and remembrance. Immediately afterwards, at 11:00 a.m., Andres will be laid to rest at pearsall cemetery in Pearsall, TX. A burial service will follow, bringing a solemn close to a life filled with love and purpose.

Andre's departure leaves a profound silence among those who knew him, but his spirit remains alive in the hearts he touched. His story is one of peace and enduring affection, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.

May his memory be eternal and his soul find the gentle rest he so richly deserves.
