Anita Chavez Vasquez

Anita Vasquez, age 66 passed away on March 25, 2022, in Pearsall, Tx. Anita was the daughter of Lalo and Miquela Vasquez. She was a loving daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.

 Anita was born in Pearsall Tx. on July 08, 1955. She attended school in Chicago, Ill., her elementary years and in Pearsall, Tx., beginning in middle school until she graduated in 1973 from Pearsall High School. Soon after finishing high school, she started working. She worked for a local produce company for a short while, then worked for the Frio Credit Union for several months. Later on, she got employed by the city Of Pearsall where she dedicated 47 years of service as a billing coordinator.

Anita is preceded in death by her father, Lalo Vasquez, grandparents, Luis and Guillerma Vasquez, Senovio and Francisca Chavez, sister-in-law, Rosanna Vasquez, Ninfa Vasquez, brother-in-law, Ruben Martinez, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Anita is survived by her mother, Miquela Vasquez, brothers, Armando Vasquez, Ernesto Vasquez, Abelardo Vasquez, David and Yolanda Vasquez, Ringo and Mary Ann Vasquez, sisters, Olivia Martinez, Delmira Valdez, Amy, and Carlos Gomez, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Pallbearers will be, Steven Valdez, Eddie Martinez, Justin Vasquez, Anthony Vasquez, Zachery Vasquez, and Jefferrey Gomez.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, from 2:00 PM till 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the Church.
