Belen G. Pardo

September 15, 1964 — April 4, 2024

Belen G. Pardo, beloved wife, mother, and sister passed away in San Antonio, Texas on April 4, 2024, at the age of 59. She was born on September 15, 1964, in Pearsall, Texas to Jose Garza and Rosa De la Cruz.

She is survived by her husband Ray Pardo, twin daughters, Breanne and Bianca Pardo, and her mother Rosa De la Cruz. She is survived by her brothers Ronnie Garza, his wife, Julie Garza, and children, April and Eric Garza; her brother Edward Garza, and his children Eddie, Jospeh, and Cassandra Garza; and her brother John “Marty” Garza, and his wife, Candie Garza, and children Olivia and Sophia Garza.

She was born and raised in Pearsall, Texas where she was an active member of the high school band as their flute player and worked at the local Dairy Queen. She moved to San Antonio, went to business school, and worked her way up from the bottom. Belen was hard-working with a long standing 37-year career with USAA.

She was smart, beautiful, loving, but most of all strong. She fought cancer two separate times in her life. Her family was everything to her and she was the best mom. In 1992, she gave birth to twin daughters, Bianca and Breanne Pardo, where she provided the best life and sacrificed and worked hard to send them to Catholic school. Belen was kind to everyone she met, and she was beloved by her co-workers.

Belen enjoyed time with her family even if it was watching a movie at home or Youtube and going shopping to find the best deals. She enjoyed late night coffee and snack runs with her family. It was important that she let the sunshine into her home so her beloved plants could flourish.

We are going to miss her but know she is at peace and reunited in Heaven with her beloved family members, especially, her father Jose Garza, and her grandparents Anita Garcia, and Jose H. Garcia who she loved dearly.

Her family asks that the best way to remember her is to spend time with your family and remember the times you spent with her.
