Bentura V. Hinojosa

Bentura V. Hinojosa, of Pearsall passed away Monday, February 3, 2020, at the age of 82.  He was born July 12, 1937, to Juan and Maria (Vasquez) Hinojosa.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Juan Alfredo Hinojosa; brothers: Raul Hinojosa, Albert Hinojosa, Domingo Hinojosa, Juan Hinojosa; sisters: Vicenta Hinojosa, Susana Ovalle, Irene Morales and Maria Luisa Martinez.

Bentura is survived by his loving wife, Aurora Hinojosa; sons: David Hinojosa and wife Becky, Jesse Hinojosa and wife April, Chris Hinojosa; daughters: Gloria Vela and husband Rudy, Christina Montez and husband Jesse, Aurora Saenz, Maryellen Vela and husband Roland, Sara Hinojosa, daughter in Law, Juanita Hinojosa; sisters: Juanita Morales, Feliz Alejandro; twenty four grandchildren and twenty five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020, In the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall with interment to follow in the Pearsall  Cemetery.  Serving as Pallbearers are Juan Hinojosa Jr., Jesse Hinojosa Jr., Cosme Saenz, Roland Vela, Steven Vela, Anthony Vela, David Hinojosa Jr., Levi Hinojosa, Noah Hinojosa, Jarrett Montemayor and Jackey Hinojosa.
