Brandon Scott Chappell, 42, of Devine, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2025. He was born May 11, 1983 in Wharton, Texas.
He attended El Campo ISD before taking automotive mechanics classes at Wharton County Junior College. Brandon worked at the El Campo Cycle Center, Walmart Automotive Department, and other locations in El Campo, before taking a position with Texas Test Fleet in Devine, Texas.
He is survived by partner, Genevieve Rodriguez; daughters Erin and Emily Chappell of Devine, Texas; father, Charles Chappell and wife Valerie; mother, Rocklynn Chappell; sister, Rebecca Chappell and husband Erick, all of El Campo; one niece; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Terry and Marilyn Chappell, Melvin and Marian Chestnutt; aunt, Martha Chappell, uncles; Brian Chappell, and Steve Chestnutt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist Church of El Campo, Texas on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Brother Rick DuBroc and Pastor Omar Garcia officiating.
In honor of Brandon's memory, love offerings for Erin and Emily for the purchase of school clothes and supplies may be made directly to Charles or Rocky Chappell, or contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of El Campo, 206 Depot, El Campo, Texas 77437.
