Brooke Lauren Farr was born to Stephen and Amy Farr in Fort Worth, Texas on April 3rd, 2003. She passed away on May 16th, 2024, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was one of three children.
In 2021, Brooke graduated from Randolph High School in San Antonio, Texas, and attended college at Northeast Lake View College earning an Associate’s Degree in 2023 with honors. At the time of her death, she was a college senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Spanish at the University of North Carolina in Asheville. She had plans to enter a master’s program to become a speech pathologist.
Brooke was hard-working and during breaks from college, she helped her mother and father complete numerous projects on the family farm in Gonzales County, Texas. She had a love for animals, was a talented artist, and was an excellent writer.
Brooke reflected Christ's love for others. She often paid for grocery items for those in need when she worked at Ingles Grocery Market in Hendersonville, North Carolina. From a young age, she had a passion for horses and from 2019-2022 she shared her talents as a volunteer at the Saddle Light Center for Therapeutic Horsemanship in Selma, Texas. At the equine center, she cared for the horses and worked with special needs children.
Brooke was loved by many good friends in Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her brother Logan Farr. She leaves behind a loving family: Fiancé Tanner Bullock; Parents, Stephen and Amy Farr; brother, Aiden Farr.
Brooke will be buried in the Moore Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM in Moore, Texas.
In place of flowers, the family requests food donations be made to your local food bank.
