Carol Ann Rogers

Carol Ann Beck Rogers, age 85, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on January 9, 2024.

Carol was born in Fredericksburg, TX on July 19, 1938.  She met the love of her life, Garret Rogers, at Huisache Avenue Baptist Church, and married soon after.  Together they were devout Christians and dedicated their life to God and to their church.  Carol spoke of her faith often and sought to instill the love of Christ into her children and grandchildren.  Even in her last days, Carol spoke openly about her relationship with Christ to the staff members of her nursing home, and when her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would come to visit, she would often sing gospel songs to them.  

Carol is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Brewer, husband Garrett Edwin Rogers, and son Gary Edwin Rogers.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Donica and husband Larry; grandchildren: Amber Michelle Rocha and Jessica Jo Wilson; great-grandchildren: Kylar Rocha, Kaden Rocha, Kenna Rocha, Brayden Wilson, Braddock Wilson, Brynlee Wilson, and Brislyn Wilson. Carol will also be greatly missed by her extended family, and those that loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Bexar Cemetery in Somerset, TX with interment immediately following.
