Charles F. "Bubba" Hanson, III, age 71, of Devine, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1951, to parents Charles Francis, Jr. and Willie Mae (Young) Hanson in San Antonio, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Pamela Pilgrim. 

Bubba is survived by his daughters, Jessica Podnar of Austin, Texas, and Jennifer Massey of Wimberley, Texas, step-daughter, Cheyenne Fisher; sister Rosemary Collins and husband, Fred of Comfort, Texas; nephews, Charles Collins of Granbury, Texas, and Andrew Collins of Comfort, Texas numerous family, friends and beloved pets.  

Bubba graduated from Devine high school in 1969, where he worked beside his father running the Hanson Electric company. He carried on the business upon his father's death. He was a member of the Devine Masonic Lodge #590 and an Eagle Scout. Bubba was an avid storyteller and collector of knowledge.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, 10:00 A.M. at Evergreen cemetery Devine, Texas services will conclude at the cemetery.
