Charles Hathaway

Charles Wayne Hathaway Jr., 89, passed away on April 12, 2020 in Castroville Tx. He was born on May 8, 1930 in Saginaw, Michagan to parents Charles Hathaway and Mildred Holmes. Charles was a service member of the United States Air Force from 1947-1968. While a member of the Air Force Service he received the GCM x5, three time recieptant of Air Force Longevity Service Award, Small Arms expert Marksmon Ribbon, Korea Service Medal,Overseas Ribbon, short/long tour, Air Force Service ribbon, UN Service medal,NDSM 1 Star and Rep. of Korea Pres. Citefion Award. He was also a member of the NRA, Palma Rifle Team and Olympic shooting team coach. Charles was preceded in death by Charles Hathaway - father, Mildred Holmes - mother. Charles is survived by Glenna Hathaway - spouse, Irene (Ron) Lindig - daughter, Margaret White - daughter, Denise Kittle- step-daughter, Melanie(Steve) Propst - step-daughter, Jennifer (Anthony) Lorch- step-daughter, Donna Walker - sister, Jim Hathaway - brother, Richard Hathaway - brother, numerous grandchildren and great-gradchildren. Visitation will be held Friday May 8, 2020 from 2pm to 5pm at the Hurley Funeral Home chapel in Devine.
