Clara M Elizondo, 89, passed away on August 1, 2020 in Pearsall, TX. She was born on August 12, 1930 in Yancey

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eliseo Elizondo; brothers Pablo Martinez, Pasqual Martinez, Jose Martinez, Simon Martinez and Tony Martinez; and one daughter, Hortencia Elizondo and a daughter-in-law, Julia Elizondo, and a great-grandson, Jaxon Saldana.

Clara is survived by her children, Alejandro Elizondo, Candelario (Janie) Elizondo, Luis (Debbie) Elizondo, John Elizondo Carmen (Benito) Samaniego , Cruz (Juan) Saldana , Ramona (Mike) Jasso , one sister, Juanita Mendez, 25 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

A Rosary is scheduled for 7:00PM Thursday, August 6th, in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday, August 7th in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Frio County Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Mark Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Demitri Castillo, Joe Luis Elizondo, Steve Samaniego, Xavier Saldana, Juan Saldana Jr., and Candelario Elizondo Jr.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Facial covering will be required at the funeral home and church and recommended at the cemetery. Social distancing will be observed as well.
