Clara G. Lopez

Clara G Lopez, 92, passed away on November 1, 2020, in Atascosa, TX. She was born on August 12, 1928, in Atascosa to parents Pablo Gomez and Clara Gomez. Clara was a resident of Illinois for over 50 years. They retired and moved back to Texas. She had a love of flowers especially roses. She also loved to sew and make many quilts and clothing. Clara was proceeded in death by parents Pablo and Clara Gomez, brothers, Antonio Gomez and Adolfo Gomez. Clara is survived by her husband of 72 years, Juan Lopez Sr., son, Juan Lopez Jr., son Robert (Judy) Lopez, daughter, Christina (Richard) Johnson, daughter, Sarah Lopez (Joe Rodriguez), son, Armando (Jean) Lopez, daughter, Patricia Lopez, grandson, Eric Johnson, granddaughters, Laura Lopez, Ruby Lopez-Rodriguez (Erik Juarez), grandson, Stephen Lopez. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2020, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral home Chapel Lytle, Tx. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 10:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church with interment to follow at Lytle Community Cemetery, Lytle, TX.
