Constance Roberta De la Garza

Constance De La Garza went with the Lord, September 8, 2025. She was 66 years old.

Constance was born in Thurston, Nebraska on September 26, 1958.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marsha & son, Haran.

Survivors are husband Francisco De La Garza of Natalia; son, Hezron (Hortencia) De La Garza of Devine; sister, Glennis Guerrero of Council Bluffs, Nebraska; grandchildren, Kianna(Gabino) Rodriguez of San Marcos, Andrew De La Garza of Denver, Colorado, Shayla De La Garza of Devine, Leah De La Garza of Minnesota; 5 great grandchildren & numerous nephews & nieces.

Constance was proud of her Native American heritage. She was a member of the Winnebago tribe. Constance also served in the Air Force, and graduated from St. Philip's College.

Constance met the love of her life in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Francisco in 1978. They started their family, having 2 sons. As, the boys grew older, they moved to San Antonio, Texas, to try to build a better life. They eventually settled in Great Oaks. When the boys were teenagers, she joined her husband on the road for a while. She started staying home & handled the business side of trucking. She loved cooking & baking for her family.

Francisco retired & they stayed home with their beloved dogs, Pinky & Didi. She enjoyed the visits from her son Hezron, granddaughter Shayla & great grandson Zaye. We will miss her beautiful smile.

A Public Viewing will be held in her honor on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine, Texas.
