Domingo Martinez

Domingo (Sunday) Martinez Jr., age 72 of Pearsall TX., peacefully passed away on December 8, 2021, in San Antonio, TX., surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 26, 1949, in George West, TX., to Domingo Sr. and Concepcion (Leal) Martinez.
Domingo Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Maria Cuellar, one brother Antonio (Esmeralda) Martinez, and his son Christopher Martinez.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Viesca Martinez, children, Justin Domingo Martinez, Dominique and husband JJ Martinez, Jessica and husband John Chapa, Calistro and wife Almira Martinez, Nicole Garcia and TJ Gonzales. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and 2 loving aunts of George West, TX., along with numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to him.
Pallbearers will be Justin Martinez, TJ Gonzales, John Chapa, JJ Martinez, Arturo Gutierrez, Joe Zapata, and the honorary pallbearer is his little buddy, Isaiah.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, from 2:00 PM till 6:30 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
The family is asking that everyone who wishes to attend the services please wear a mask.
