He is survived by his loving parents Anne Villarreal and Joe Castillo III, his brother Leonidas Joe Castillo; maternal grandmother Julie Villarreal; paternal grandparents Sandra Valadez and Joe Castillo Jr. along with multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dom was a feisty kid who loved keeping his parents and nurses on their toes. His famous side eye when he wanted to let you know he was mad will be missed. His short time on earth was lived with so many great times and his memory will never be forgotten.
A very special thank you to all the medical staff at Methodist Children's Hospital for always taking great care of Dom. To ABC Health Care nursing staff, Lisa Koehler, Laura Huerta, Sylvia Martinez, Rebecca Hererra, Vida Pina, and Brianne Curiel you all were family to us and we cannot thank you enough for all you have done for Dom.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Natalia, Texas. Mass will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, 10:00 A.M. at St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Natalia, Texas with interment to follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
