Doris M. Barnes

Doris M Barnes, 85, passed away on January 20, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 27, 1935 in Oklamulgee, Oklahoma to parents Clyde Maxwell and Letha Parrish Maxwell.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jack Barnes; and her son-in-law Richard Bennett.

Doris is survived by her children Jeanne Bennett, Dorothy and Allen Strong, and Robert Malone; brothers Darrell Maxwell , Jimmy Maxwell, and Don Maxwell ; her grandchildren Dehlia Wallis, Michael Wallis, Crystal Carroll, Val Carroll, Jesse Malone, Slade Malone, and Robert James Malone, and ten great-grandchildren.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00AM Saturday,January 23, 2021, inthe Pearsall Cemetery, Dr. Daid Bachelor officiating.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, masks are strongly recommended, and social distancing will be observed. Memorials may be sent to Judy's Ark in her honor.
