Elena Castillo

Elena Castillo passed away on October 27, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will continue to live on through her family and all those who knew her.

Elena was preceded in death by her father, Santos Castillo; her mother, Luisa Valenzuela; her infant daughter, Pascualita; and her daughter, Mary Darlene Barajas.

She is survived by her loving children: Adan Barajas and his wife, Betty, of Kyle, Texas; Paul Barajas and his wife, Janie, of Pearsall, Texas; Pascuala Barajas of Dilley, Texas; Martin Gonzalez Jr. and his wife , Judith, of Union City, California; Jose Felix Gonzalez and his wife, Nancy, of San Jose, California; Feliseo Gonzales and his wife, Araceli, of El Paso, Texas; Santos Gonzales and his wife, Julie, of Shalimar, Florida; and Gil Gonzalez and his wife, Addi, of Lufkin, Texas.

Elena also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her beloved fur babies, who brought her companionship and joy.

She will be deeply missed for the love she shared. The memories she leaves behind will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation for Elena will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, Texas, with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.  at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. A burial will follow at Frio County Cemetery.
