With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Felix “Forty” C. Palacios, a beloved soul who left us on June 19, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on May 2, 1955, in Pearsall, Texas, to parents Esequio and Maria Palacios. Felix “Forty” was many things: a devoted husband to his beloved Martha, a nurturing father, a proud grandfather, and a great-grandfather who filled his family’s world with joy. He had a knack for bringing laughter and warmth to every gathering. He never met a stranger who he couldn’t connect with. He loved Amazon shopping and taking pictures and videos at celebrations and events. He embraced creativity as if he possessed the skills of a modern-day MacGyver, showing that with a little hard-work and a lot of love, anything is possible.
The legacy of Felix “Forty” C. Palacios lives on through the heartwarming memories he created with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Martha Palacios; daughters Melanie Brown, Valerie Lopez (Mark Lopez), Samantha Viesca (Jeffery Viesca); grandchildren Mia Cruz, Joseph Reyes, Noah and Camila Lopez, and Matthew Felix Viesca; Great-Grandchildren; brother Temo Palacios; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. As we celebrate his life, we ask that you join us in reflecting on the vibrant chapters he penned in our hearts—a dedication to family, love, laughter, and the simple joys that make life extraordinary.
He is preceded in death by his parents Esequio and Maria Palacios; beloved daughter Amy Reyes; Sisters Paula Guajardo, Candelaria Gandara; father-in-law and mother-in-law Guadalupe and Lucia Ramirez and his brother-in-law David Ramirez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Primrose Funeral Services of Pearsall, Texas. Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow in Pearsall Cemetery. Family and friends will gather to share stories, honor his spirit, and celebrate the profound impact he had on all our lives. We will come together in the spirit of remembrance, where tears will mingle with laughter, and the echoes of his life will fill the air. In this time of reflection, let us carry his legacy forward, cherishing the joy he brought into our world and the love he so freely gave. Rest in peace, dear Felix “Forty”. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
