Garry was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Oma Brown, brothers, Gaylon Brown, Marlin Brown, Raymond(Jimmy) Brown, sister, Violet Garrett.

Garry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Melody Brown, son, Jimmy (Carrie) Brown, brothers, Leonard (Susan) Brown, Dexter (Pat) Brown, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
