It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Evelyn Dunlap, a beloved mother and cherished friend. Born on June 9, 1926, in Waco, Texas, Gladys lived a full life dedicated to her family and community. She passed away peacefully at her home in Fredericksburg, Texas, on September 10, 2025, at the age of 99.
Gladys is preceded into Heaven by Husband William C. Dunlap, and Son Bill Dunlap, Jr. As a devoted homemaker and military wife, Gladys was the heart of her family, nurturing her loved ones with unwavering love and support. Her warm spirit and gentle disposition touched all who were fortunate enough to know her. Gladys's legacy will continue to shine brightly through her daughters Meri Bowie, Judith Flanagan, Markey Jan May, her beloved grandchildren, and many cherished great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held in honor of Gladys's life on September 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Moore Memorial Cemetery in Moore, Texas where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to honor Gladys consider making a donation to a local charity, a reflection of her kind spirit and her lifelong commitment to helping others.
Gladys Evelyn Dunlap will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her boundless love, strength, and compassion that enriched all our lives. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.
