Guadalupe Martinez Jr.

Guadalupe Martinez Jr, age 64 of Derby, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Jourdanton, Tx. He was born August 10, 1956 in Laredo Mexico to Guadalupe Martinez Sr. and Maria Chavez Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Lazaro Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Elsa Martinez; children Cesar Garza, Jesus Garza, Anthony Rodriguez, Lupe Martinez III, Ginger Herrera, Jennifer M Martinez, Veronica Coronado and Esmeralda Martinez; brothers Robert Martinez, Ramiro Martinez and Raul Martinez; sisters Juanita (Mark) Hurlbut and Isabel (Roland) Esquivel; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 20th from 2:00PM until 9:00PM, with the Rosary at 7:00PM in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home Pearsall. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM Monday, December 21, 2020 in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Devine. Pallbearers will include Victor Cruz, Curtis Saenz, Joseph Saenz, Chris Garza, Lupe Martinez III, Cesar Garza, Jesus Garza and Luis Martinez.
Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, face coverings or masks will be required and social distancing will be observed. Please limit physical contact to members of your immediate family only.
