Ignacia S. Rosales, lovingly known as Nancy, passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on July 31, 1945, in Devine, Texas.
Ignacia is survived by her devoted husband Joe Rosales, with whom she shared more than 50 years of love and companionship. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughters Mary Alice Alvarez, Rosemary Lopez, and Josephine Rosales, who will forever cherish her nurturing heart and guidance.
She also leaves behind her beloved son-in-law Mark; grandchildren Dezaray (Jeremy), Emma (Murray), A.J., Joey, Hannah, and Madeline; as well as her great-grandchildren Aiden, Seth, Peyton, Hadley, and Liam. She is also remembered by her brothers, numerous cousins, extended family, and countless dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Savina D. Hernandez and Jose Hernandez, her brother Joe Hernandez, and her great-grandmother Maria De La Rosa.
Ignacia was the embodiment of love, kindness, and grace. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who poured her heart into her family. Her caring spirit made everyone around her feel valued and loved. Ignacia was a person who lit up every room she entered-joyful, warm, and full of life. She loved being surrounded by family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and songs that brought everyone closer together.
Her laughter was contagious, her words were full of wisdom, and her heart was always open. Whether she was singing, playing games, working on crossword puzzles, or simply spending time with those she loved, Ignacia created moments that will live forever in the hearts of her family.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered-not only by her immediate family, but by all who had the blessing of knowing her. She touched many lives with her generosity, kindness, and gentle soul.
Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and a rosary at recited at 7:30 p.m. A Mass will follow the next morning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Lytle, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
