Jessica Michelle Martinez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jessica Michelle Martinez, who left this world on June 3, 2026, at the age of 37.

Jessica was born on November 8, 1989, in San Antonio, Texas, and she spent her life brightening the lives of those around her. She graduated from Lytle High School with Honors through National Honors Society, and went on to receive her Masters in Business Administration in 2013 from Texas Tech. Jessica loved to make beautiful wood creations, and had a knack for taking old, worn out furniture and making them fresh and new again. As a talented landscaper, and Owner of Southern Rose Landscape; Jessica brought beauty to spaces, showcasing her creative flair and dedication to nature. Known for her love of animals, she created a warm and welcoming home for both her family and furry friends alike.

She was a PROUD TEXAN, and let everyone know it! Jessica also had the warmest heart for Veterans, and for those that were suffering either physically or mentally. Her kindness knew no bounds.

She is preceded in death by her Grandfathers, PaPa Billy Hammock, and Jesus Garcia. Jessica was a loving wife to Jerimiah Adkins, and a devoted daughter to parents, Stephanie, and Domingo Alvarez, as well as her mother in law, Julie Fortenberry, and Maternal Grandmother, Ofelia Garcia. She also leaves behind her brothers, Joseph S. Martinez (Jezebel), Noey Alvarez (Mariah); sisters, Tabatha Martinez (Brian), Carmen Torres (Rene), and Jessie Alvarez; neices, Casey Finn, Autumn Finn, Shelby Finn, Jane Martinez, nephew, Cash Spruill, and Joseph W. Martinez. Jessica will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. A special mention for her beloved dog, Cheatie, whom already misses her immensely.

She embodied tenacity and had a can-do spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.

We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Jessica's life at Primrose Funeral Services in Lytle on Monday, June 15, 2026. A public viewing will be held in her honor from 9:00am to 10:30am. Funeral service will follow from 10:30am-11:30am. It will be a time for sharing stories, memories, and the joy that Jessica brought to our lives. Burial will follow in Lytle Community Cemetery. Closed toe shoes are recommended at the cemetery.

Jessica will be lovingly remembered as a vibrant soul whose spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will not be forgotten.
