Jim Spurlock

Jim Spurlock passed away on May 18, 2023 in Schertz, Texas at the age of 84.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Spurlock and Laura Spurlock, son, Michael Spurlock and daughter-in-law, Mary Spurlock; son, Bill Spurlock and daughter, Karen Spurlock; brother, Chester Spurlock.

Jim will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 65 years , Elizabeth Spurlock; son, Jimmy Spurlock (Leslie); daughter, Cheryl Spurlock; his sister-in-law, Josey Leal, brothers, Charlie Spurlock, Carl Gay; sisters, Mary Combs, Freeda Hoskins; grandsons, William Spurlock, Bryan Spurlock, Todd Carey, James Spurlock; granddaughters, Amber Espinoza, Taeler Gauthier, Sydney Spurlock, Hailey Spurlock; 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Primrose Funeral Services in Pearsall, TX. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Dilley with interment to follow in Dilley Cemetery.
