Juan O. Manzanares, Sr.

Juan O. Manzanares, Sr., age 81 of Pearsall, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas.

Juan was born on August 14, 1939, to parents, Ascencion and Petra (Orozco) Manzanares in Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ascencion Manzanares; wife, Luz Manzanares; son, Humberto Manzanares; grandson, Luciano Rivera, Jr.; brother, Fidel Manzanares; sister, Maria Dolores Manzanares. 

He is survived by his mother, Petra Orozco Manzanares; sons, Juan A. Manzanares (Paula); Gerardo Manzanares; daughters, Glaude Rivera (Luciano); Anjelica Manzanares Aguilar (Chris); nineteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021, 2:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Pearsall, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 19, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Pearsall, Texas with interment to follow in Pearsall cemetery.

At the family's request masks must be worn to attend all funeral services.
