Juanita Pruitt Viesca

Juanita Pruitt Viesca, age 83 of Pearsall, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on May 12, 1939 to Delfino and Petra Pruitt.  Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Viesca; sons, Luis Viesca, Jr. and Natividad Viesca. 

She is survived by her son, Gerardo Viesca; daughters, Carmen Paulino, Diane Martinez, Angelica Maria Viesca, Elizabeth Salazar and Rosanna Rodriguez; twenty-four grandchildren and thirty six great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pearsall from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall with interment to follow in Frio County Cemetery.
