With heavy hearts and deep faith, we announce the passing of our beautiful soul, Maria "Mari" Magdalena Arvizu Del Rio, who was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 20, 2025. She departed this life peacefully, surrounded by love, and is now resting in eternal glory.

Maria was a beautiful soul, kind, strong, and full of grace. She lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her faith in God was a guiding light in her life and a comfort to those who knew her.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her radiant smile, and the joy she brought into every room. Her love knew no bounds, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Maria is survived by her husband, Eder Del Rio Reyes; beautiful daughters, Selena Jazmin and Julianna Sariah; parents, Humberto and Diana Arvizu; sisters, Margaret (Noe Morin), Stephanie (Charlie Gonzales), and Valerie (Angel Moran); father-in-law, Rafael Del Rio; mother-in-law, Anabel Reyes; brother-in-law, Irvin Del Rio; sister-in-laws, Luna, Melanie, and Naomi Del Rio; nieces, Dominique and Alexis Perez, Angelo, Isaac, Alyssa, Alex, and Jacob Gonzales, Angel, Malikai, Millianna Moran; and her aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Teodoro Arvizu; grandmother, Margarita Almaguer; uncles Antonio Arvizu, Ernesto Arvizu, and Adalberto Castillo.

Services will be held in her honor at the funeral chapel of Primrose Funeral Services of Lytle, Texas, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord, embraced by everlasting peace and love.

"Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:23

Con gran pesar y profunda fe, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida alma, María “Mari” Magdalena Arvizu Del Río, quien fue llamada a casa para estar con nuestro Señor y Salvador el 20 de junio de 2025. Partió en paz, rodeada de amor, y ahora descansa en la gloria eterna.

María era un alma hermosa, bondadosa, fuerte y llena de gracia. Vivió una vida llena de compasión, alegría y un amor inquebrantable por su familia y amigos. Su fe en Dios fue una luz que la guió y un consuelo para quienes la conocieron.

Será recordada por su espíritu amable, su sonrisa radiante y la alegría que infundía en cada rincón. Su amor no tuvo límites y su recuerdo vivirá en los corazones de quienes tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla.

Le precedieron en la muerte su abuelo, Teodoro Arvizu; su abuela, Margarita Almaguer; sus tíos Antonio Arvizu, Ernesto Arvizu y Adalberto Castillo.

Los servicios funerarios se celebrarán en su honor en la capilla funeraria de Primrose Funeral Services de Lytle, Texas, el miércoles 25 de junio de 2025, de 18:00 a 21:00 h, con el rezo del Rosario a las 19:00 h.
