Marilyn Elizabeth Lassere, a beloved daughter, wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile and her beautiful personality. Marilyn understood the importance of living in the present and had a motto of taking "one day at a time".

Born on December 20, 1971, in San Antonio, Texas, Marilyn brought joy and happiness to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. 

On her life's journey, Marilyn found true love when she met Luke Hardy, whom she married and lived an adventurous life.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Louis Lassere; grandfather, Merle Berry; father-in-law, David Hardy.  Her fur babies, Pono and Reba held a special place in her heart alongside Diesel who brought companionship during difficult times.

Marilyn was adored by her extended family and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.  She is survived by her loving mother, Lois Lassere; brother, Darion Lassere (Teresa) and their children, Kayzen and Autumn; sister, Darleen Lassere her children, Courtney (Jorge),Tori (Timothy), JuliAna and Kristin; sister, LeAnn Wolff (Joshua) and their children, Devon his son, Everett, Rebekah, Deborah her daughter, LakeLynn and SkyLynn;  her special cousin, Brian Seelig who held a special place in her heart and shared countless memorable moments together. Marilyn also had a deep love for animals and treated them as cherished family members.

Throughout her life, Marilyn touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness, compassion, and infectious positivity. Her friends were an integral part of her life and will forever cherish the memories they created together.

Marilyn's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her. However, we carry solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace. Her impact on our lives will never be forgotten, as her memory will continue to live on within our hearts.

As we bid farewell to Marilyn Elizabeth Lassere, let us remember her with smiles and laughter. Let us celebrate a life well-lived and continue to carry on her legacy of embracing each day with love and joy. May she rest in eternal peace.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at Somerset Baptist Church with Pastor Duane "Chip" Gavlick presiding. Services will conclude at the church.
