With heavy hearts but joyful spirits, we announce the passing of Marjorie Jean Bigham, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who departed this world peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 98. A longtime resident of Pearsall, Texas, Marjorie lived a life filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community.
Marjorie was a beacon of kindness and grace, known for her warm smile and open heart. She is survived by her children; William Paul Leverett and wife Sandra of Cartersville Ga, Camille Jean Suprenant of Pleasanton, Texas, Kenneth Franklin Leverett and wife Susan of Middletown, Pennsylvania, and Carlton Leverett and Wife Peggy of Pearsall, Texas. Marjorie is also survived by her Sister Billie Dean Gulley of Pearsall, Texas. Marjorie is lastly survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her late husband; William Ralph Leverrett and Thomas Oliver Bigham. Marjorie is also preceded in death by her sister Jamie Finch and her parents Morten Boren and Lake Orme.
A public viewing to honor Marjorie will be held on June 22, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11 am at First Baptist Church in Pearsall, Texas, providing friends and family the opportunity to celebrate her remarkable life. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, where we will gather to reflect on her life and the joyous moments shared. A burial will follow at Pearsall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, The family has asked for a donation to be made to The Gideons International in Marjorie’s honor.
As we remember Marjorie Jean Bigham, let us celebrate her legacy, the laughter she brought into our lives, and the countless memories that will remain forever in our hearts. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in this celebration of a life well-lived.
