Naomi Garcia Carrillo

Naomi Garcia Carrillo "Mimi", of Lytle, Texas, has passed away at the age of 88.

Born on June 9, 1936, in Goliad, Texas, Naomi grew up in Lytle, where she spent most of her life. She was know for her kind heart, creative spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. It was while working at Pyron's Grocery Store in Lytle that she met the love of her life, Agapito Carrillo Sr., to whom she was married until his passing.

Naomi loved to sew, and was an active member in her church, Iglesia Bautista Calvario; often working as a Sunday School teacher. She and her beloved husband Agapito also loved to travel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Luisa Garcia; husband, Agapito Dimas Carrillo; sisters, Amelia Lopez, Esther Hernandez; and brother, Leon Garcia.

She is survived by her son, Agapito Carrillo Jr.; daughter Raquel Hernandez (Juan); grandson, Jason Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Chapel in Lytle, Texas on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 9:00am - 11:00 am, the funeral service starts at 11:00am with interment will follow in Lytle Community Cemetery.
