Odessa Tafolla Carrasco

Odessa Tafolla Carrasco, 92, passed away on October 23, 2020, in Pearsall, Texas. She was born on September 13, 1928, in Frio Town, Texas to parents Jose Santiago Tafolla and Santos Gonzalez Tafolla.

Odessa was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfredo D Carrasco, and two sisters, Lillian (Lily) Dominguez and Maria T Carrasco.

She is survived by her children Jesus A (Blanca West) Carrasco, John T (Paula) Carrasco, Olga (Joe Sr.) Salcedo, Marta (Almo) Galindo, and Oralia (Gary) Stautzenberger; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:00–11:00 am, with the Rosary being recited at 11:00 am, in the Hurley Funeral Home, Pearsall. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm, with interment to follow in the Moore Catholic Cemetery, Moore, Texas. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, face masks or coverings will be mandatory and social distancing observed. Please limit physical contact to members of your immediate family only.
