Richard Alex Stallworth, age 66, passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his children on January 30, 2026. He is a devoted father, beloved son, cherished husband, and a friend to so many. His absence is leaving a void that can never be filled, but a legacy of love, laughter, compassion, and kindness that will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to know him.
Richard was a pillar of strength and joy to his family and community. Whether he was offering a helping hand, a warm smile, or encouragement during difficult moments, his generous spirit touched the lives of so many. Richard had a love for family and food. He loved cooking, barbecuing, and most of all making sure everyone was well fed. Often, he would give samples of his barbecue before we got a chance to eat. Richard started an AAU program at Natalia High School, where he became not only a Coach, but to some a father figure.
Richard was born in Panama to Adilia Gonzalez and John Thomas Stallworth Jr. Richard proudly served his country in the Air Force as a law-enforcement specialist.
He is survived by his wife, Alexandra, of 31 years, children, Anjelica, Kasey, Dakota, Samantha, and Jared Stallworth (Selena); brother Jason Boxwell (Angela), step-father Bevin Boxwell, his Auntie Dolores Curry and Auntie Deborah Stallworth; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, CPL. Tracy C. Stallworth, Father John T. Stallworth, and Mother Adilia Boxwell.
