Richard Trevino

Richard Trevino, our beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather, passed away February 1, 2021 in San Antonio at the age of 67. He was born in Pearsall on March 1, 1953 to Manuel L. and Paula Guevara Trevino.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Richard retired from Stockmens National Bank in Cotulla. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the great outdoors and spent many hours working on his ranch that he loved. Richard met his wife to be while they were working at Charlotte State Bank. They enjoyed spending time at the lake house at Lake Corpus Christi.

He is survived by Dori, his wife of 37 years, children Richard (Nicki) Trevino II, Trevlyn (Matt) Carson, and Tristen Trevino; siblings Manuel Trevino, Lionel Trevino, Ruben Trevino, and Amalia Trevino; granddaughter, Alyssa Trevino, and grandson, Alexander Bueno.

Services are scheduled for Friday, February 5, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Public visitation will begin at 8:30 AM Friday. If anyone is uncomfortable about attending a service in an enclosed area, please feel free to join us at the Pearsall Cemetery around 10:45 for the committal service in the Pearsall Cemetery.

For those wishing to honor his life through memorials, the family has suggested they be given to the American Heart Association in his memory.

Due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 Pandemic, masks will be required, and social distancing will be observed. Please limit physical contact to members of your immediate family only.
