Rosa Maria Mares

Rosie Mares of Bigfoot, Tx entered eternal rest on January 28, 2021. Rosie was born in San Antonio, Tx. to parents Jesus Sr. & Marta Mares on January 31, 1972. She was a very loving person who always loved spending time with family. Although Rosie never had children of her own, she was practically a second mother to her nieces & nephews. Always devoting her time loving & mentoring them. She will be greatly missed by the entire family, but never forgotten. We will always love her and continue life knowing one day we will get to see her again. She is preceded in death by her loving father Jesus Mares Sr. Survived by her fiancé Antonio Barrientos, her loving mother Marta Mares. Brothers; Jesus Mares Jr, David/Lucy Mares, Alex/Anna Mares & numerous nieces & nephews along with a number of loving relatives & friends. Visitation will be held Thursday February 4, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be Friday, February 12, 2021, at 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Devine. Services to conclude at the church. Due to the new Executive Order from Governor Abbott, we are asking that everyone wear a mask during all funeral services.
