Ruben Cabrera, age 46, of Devine, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2026. Ruben was born in Hondo, Texas, on August 24, 1979, to Susan and Tomas Cabrera Jr.

Ruben is preceded in death by his father, Tomas Cabrera Jr., and his brother, Tomas Cabrera III.

Ruben is survived by his mother, Susan Cabrera; Daughter, Elina, and partner Mary Ellen, and stepdaughter Sophie; brothers, Sammy and Jesse (Sabrina); Sister Roxanne Rodriguez (Martin); nieces, Lexii, Jessanie, Alexis, Jasmine and Jesslynn; nephews, Tomas Joel, Aiden, Jase, Jaysen, Kaden, Grayson, and Jesse Jr.

A public visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. with a Rosary reciting at 7 P.M. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 10 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devine, Texas. A burial will follow at Yancey Cemetery.
