With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Sandra "Joe" Faye Kelsay James, age 71, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Sandra was born on March 6, 1954, in Jourdanton, Texas, to Clarence Herbert Kelsay and Berniece (Pady) Kelsay. Affectionately known as "Sande," she was cherished for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering love for family.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Anthony James; their children, Nicholas James-Canfield (Eric), Stacy, and Joyce Garcia (Diego); her grandchildren, Hadleigh-Faye, Jordy-Wes, Danni-Rae, Jaycee-Joe, and Demi-Lou. She is also survived by her loving siblings.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Berniece, and JW "Dobb" & Mary Louise James; her son, Baby-David; and her siblings Linda Kelsay, Emmitt Kelsay, Janie Kelsay Higgin, and Joney Kelsay.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00am. Both services are being held in the funeral chapel at Primrose Funeral Services of Lytle, Texas. Interment will follow in Bexar Cemetery.
