Santos Esequiel Cortez

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Santos Cortez, who left us peacefully on January 22, 2026, at the tender age of 23. Born on March 20, 2002, Santos brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

Santos is survived by his beloved aunt, Salina Soria and wife Angelica , His Father Santos Ibarra, Mother Rebecca Ibarra, sister Rebecca Ibarra, Brothers Raul and Nathaniel Cortez and sister, Damaris Ibarra.

As we remember Santos, let us carry forward his legacy of kindness, compassion, and love in our own lives. May he rest in peace, knowing that he will always be remembered and forever loved.

A visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Services Chapel, 14822 Main Street, Lytle, Texas 78052, on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 09:00AM to 11:00AM.  The funeral service will be held at Primrose Funeral Services on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.  Interment will follow at Rambie Grove Cemetery in Somerset, Texas.
