Simona S. Moreno , a dedicated hard working woman that would provide for her family , passed away on April 17, 2026, in Pearsall Texas. She was born on October 16, 1947 in Pearsall, Texas. Known for her laughter and her love for spending time with her family, Simona leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever. She blessed so many when she worked at Dan chak Ben Franklin Store for 14 years, Walmart for 10 years and a GED teacher at the corrections facility among help other organizations she was affiliated with.

Also a very highly dedicated member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She consistently displayed professionalism and dedication to her work. Her exemplary leadership skills earned her the respect and admiration of both her colleagues and those she supervised. Simona had an innate ability to bring out the best in others through her guidance and mentorship.

Beyond her professional achievements, Simona's true legacy lies in the warmth and joy she brought to those around her. A woman with an infectious laughter, she could light up any room with her delightful sense of humor. Whether it was sharing stories with friends and loved ones, Simona had an uncanny ability to bring smiles to everyone's faces.

Above all else, Simona cherished spending time with her family. She found immense joy in their company and always made it a priority to create lasting memories together.

Simona's love extended beyond blood relatives; she deeply cared for those close to her as if they were family too.

Simona was preceded in death by her mother Clotilde Reyes and brother Pete Peña. And her husband Jacob F. Moreno of 51 years of marriage. She is survived by her son Chris Moreno (Suzy), and stepson Andrew Moreno. Granddaughters, Jasmine Moreno, Selena & Suzette Moreno and great granddaughters Violette Raine Macias, Madalyn Rose Flores and Isabella Flores also survived by her great grandsons Bryson & Caleb, all of whom meant the world to her. Their bond was evident in the love they shared and the countless special moments they created together.

Simona S Moreno will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother , and friend. Her laughter and vibrant spirit brought happiness to all who knew her. As we reflect on her life, let us celebrate the profound impact she had on our lives and the countless ways in which he made this world a brighter place. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
