Ygnacia DeLeon

Ygnasia “Nacha” Cordova DeLeon of Rocksprings, Texas passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at her home in Pearsall, Texas. She was born in Rocksprings, Texas to parents Jose and Angelita Cordova on July 31, 1930.

Nacha had a loving soul and very kind hearted. She was a lady that never complained, worked hard and took care of her family.  One of her favorite past times was to sit outside and admire the beauty of all the flowers and sounds of nature. She always enjoyed the company of her family. Her biggest joy in life was raising her six children, Rosita, Anastacio, Ruben, Ernesto, Federico, and Carlos. She loved all of them to no end. 

Those left to honor and cherish Nachas memory is her daughter Rosa (Jesus) Ontiveros, Anastacio (Rosa) DeLeon, Ruben (Sara) DeLeon, Lucy (Ernesto) DeLeon, and Kathy (Federico) DeLeon; grandchildren, Norma (John) Hinojosa, Angelita (Carlos) Carranza, Ernesto Jr (Lizette) DeLeon, Rachael (Danny) Gomez, Rebecca DeLeon, Rosie (James) Walker, Johnathan (Emily) DeLeon, Federico (Leslie) DeLeon, Anastacio III (Blanca) DeLeon, Adrian (Rachel) DeLeon, Gloria (Iber) Mayorga, Rosa Maria (Moises) Miranda, Anna Leticia DeLeon, Jesse III (Janie) Ontiveros, Laura (Abel) Nuñez, 33 great grandchildren and  7 great great grandchildren, sisters Rosie Rodriguez and Susie Azaldua

Nacha was preceded in death by her father Jose, mother Angelita, brothers: Juan, and Roberto, sisters: Maria and Amelia, sons: Ernesto, Federico, and Carlos. 

Services for Nacha will be held on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at Immaculate Heart Of Mary Catholic Church in Pearsall Texas. There will be a visitation from 9:00Am to 10:00Am, a Rosay from 10:00Am to 10:45Am, and a Mass from 11:30Am to 12:30Pm. Serv ices will conclude at the church.
